Astrology and The Law of Attraction

Astrology is a passion of mine and I have studied it for a few years now. It took a while for me to put it all into perspective. At first glance, astrology can seem counter intuitive to the law of attraction-destiny versus free will. However, a deeper look reveals the opposite. They are perfectly complementary if understood.

Astrology is the study of energy. It could easily be called The Study of the Earth's Vibes. Each of us comes into this world with certain talents. I believe we chose these talents before we were born in order to achieve what we wanted. As everything, the place and time of your birth also contained a certain energy, and that energy is carried within you.And just like all energy, it is neither negative nor positive. Astrologers study this energy and try their best to interpret it. The way you use this energy, the way you choose to focus it is what matters. This is why people who share the same birthday (plus time and place) can have such unique and distinctly different lives. This phenomenon is often notable in twins.

Astrology doesn't determine one's life path or one's future. It does however provide a map of the energy you were born with.

What about Mercury Retrograde? Does it really have an affect on all of us?

Mercury Retrograde is the most common astrological term known among non astrologers. This is a brief period where the planet Mercury (planet that rules communication and technology) goes backwards. A retrograde period is often linked with miscommunication and computer crashes. However, this is all in the interpretation. This kind of energy also allows me to take a break from the computer and go take a walk!

What is Horary astrology?

It is an interpretation of the energy carried by a certain moment in place and time. Horary astrology is mostly used to answer a specific question such as Is this a good time to get married?

What about numerology? tarot? runes?

Again, you can rename all these things-the study of energy! It is a way of measuring vibrations. My friend Lindsey and I had a tarot card reading a few weeks ago, and it was VERY accurate-for that moment. It just tells you what you are in the process of attracting and you can shift it in an instant.
