Where Will Your Love Take You? Discover The Secret Blend Of Astrology Matching.

In ancient times, astrology was considered both an art and a science. Practitioners were held in great respect, advising Kings and Emperors on when to go into battle and when to marry. The astronomers and the astrologers slowly separated from each other. Today, these wise sages appear in the magazines to give all of us our horoscope. I am not really interested in the fortune telling aspect of astrology, but I do find astrology matching a fascinating subject.

Some people find the idea of our personalities being shaped by the position of the stars at the time of our birth, a ridiculous notion. I have read about the twelve signs of the zodiac and the qualities and mistake of each one. Observing family and friends, I am surprised to find that many things ring true.

The most complex issue of all is astrology matching, where we evaluate how different signs will get along. This can be applied to family relationships, friendships, business relationships and romantic ones. I'm not saying astrology is a perfect science and we should rule our lives by it, but it's worth looking at.

I bought a big, fat book on astrology which focused on the idea of astrology matching. Of course, I looked firstly at myself and my husband's match. I am Cancer and he is Scorpio, one of the best matches you can have apparently. It must be pointed out however, that this winning combination didn't do Prince Charles and Princess Diana any good. There's bound to be exceptions.

Each of the zodiac signs falls into the four classic elements of Air, Water, Fire and Earth. Therefore, the Fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) are the burning, passionate ones. The Air signs (Libra, Aquarius and Gemini) are the clever thinkers. The Earth signs (Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo) are the straightforward, salt of the Earth types. The Water signs (Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio) are the emotional, sensitive ones. These elements are important when it comes to astrology matching. For example, a Water sign must be careful not to throw water on a Fire sign, crushing his enthusiasm.

There is a lot of talk about finding a soul friend when it comes to astrology matching. It's not a matter of finding an identical person, but someone who will complement you with their own feature. In fact, the combination of two signs together is not always a good idea, as you double up on too many things. Two Cancers together could make for too much sulking and two Leos could be a little too unstable. I'm not advising astrology matching should affect your choice of mate. Just give it some notice and you may be surprised.
